Terms of Service
Welcome to DeckMP. These Terms govern your use of our platform, including subscriptions, fan-funded campaigns, the exclusive beat marketplace, and related services. By using DeckMP, you agree to these Terms.
Marketplace role β DeckMP is a facilitator for beat sales between producers and buyers. DeckMP is not the seller of beats and does not guarantee outcomes on third-party platforms (streaming services, social platforms, or elsewhere) beyond what our agreements expressly state.
Exclusive beat sales β Each beat listing on DeckMP is offered as an exclusive sale: one buyer per listing. When a purchase completes, that listing is removed from public sale. Producers warrant that they own or control the beat, that it contains no uncleared samples, and that they will not sell or license the same master to another party after an exclusive sale on DeckMP.
Producer indemnity β Producers agree to indemnify and hold harmless DeckMP and buyers against claims arising from the producer's breach of warranties, including unauthorized samples, copyright infringement, or duplicate sales of the same exclusive beat.
Audio fingerprinting β DeckMP fingerprints uploaded beat audio to detect duplicate listings and block re-upload of sold beats. Attempting to circumvent these protections may result in payout holds, account suspension, and removal from the marketplace.
Beat reports & enforcement β Buyers may report suspected duplicate sales, misleading listings, or copyright issues. DeckMP may investigate, hold Stripe Connect payouts, ban producers from the beat marketplace, and take other reasonable enforcement action.
License documents β Buyers receive an auto-generated exclusive license PDF at purchase, plus download access to audio files. Producers must not misrepresent rights granted in listings or marketing copy.
Payments β Beat purchases are processed via Stripe. Producer payouts use Stripe Connect. DeckMP may delay or hold Connect payouts during investigations or policy violations.
Disputes β Report beat marketplace issues via the in-product report flow or email support@deckmp.com. We aim to review reports promptly. Legal disputes between producer and buyer are primarily governed by the exclusive license and applicable law; DeckMP may provide purchase records as a facilitator.
Limitation of liability β To the fullest extent permitted by law, DeckMP's liability is limited to direct damages capped at the fees paid to DeckMP in the twelve months before the claim. We do not warrant uninterrupted service or that producers will comply with exclusive terms off-platform.
Changes β We may update these Terms. Material changes to beat marketplace rules may require producers to re-accept updated warranties before new uploads.
